The Lodge

Built by Hand. Shaped by the Mountains.

Set on approximately 240 hectares of farm and forest along the Fraser River, Crescent Spur Lodge is a small, owner-operated wilderness lodge between the Northern Rockies and Cariboo Mountains.

The lodge began as Mark Aubrey’s family farm home, which he purchased from his mother in 1982. As Crescent Spur grew, the original home grew with it. Mark did much of the building himself, with help from his family, local tradespeople and, at times, even members of the guiding team. Over nearly two decades, it was transformed into the hand-hewn log lodge guests know today, and Mark continues to renovate and improve it.

At the End of the Day

Whether you have spent the day skiing, fishing or hiking, returning to the lodge is part of the experience.

Evenings often begin with après around the full-service bar or a bottle selected from our curated wine cellar. Dinner follows in the dining room, with time afterward for the outdoor hot tub, cedar sauna, a game of pool or relaxing around the fire and sharing stories from the day.

Crescent Spur welcomes a maximum of 20 winter guests at a time, while our summer groups are smaller. The scale of the lodge allows our team to get to know each guest and creates an atmosphere that is personal, comfortable and easygoing.

Dining at Crescent Spur

Meals are planned around the day’s adventures. Mornings begin with a hearty breakfast at the lodge, followed by lunches and snacks prepared for the field. Back at the lodge, après is followed by a three-course dinner prepared by Chef Greg Fuchs and his team.

Guests gather around shared tables in the dining room, making dinner a relaxed opportunity to reconnect and hear about where everyone spent the day.

Please let us know about any dietary requirements or food allergies before your trip. Our kitchen team will work with you to accommodate them wherever possible.

A Quiet Place to Recharge

Crescent Spur has 18 guest rooms, each with a private ensuite bathroom. The rooms carry the same warm timber character as the rest of the lodge and include comfortable bamboo and linen bedding and everything guests need to settle in after a full day outside.

Guests enjoy private-room accommodation, while couples, friends and guests who prefer to share can be accommodated together. Room configurations vary and include king, queen and double-bed options.
